Blog Entry23 Places in the Philippines I want to visitMay 13, '08 6:27 AM
for everyone
  1. Batanes. Stone houses. South China Sea.
  2. Abra. Wonder why so many political killings are happening there.
  3. Benguet. Very rich history. I want to have a piece of it. Plus, Sagada Falls.
  4. Ifugao. Igorots and Banaue Rice Terraces.
  5. Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Spanish houses. Kaibigan Falls.
  6. Pangasinan. Meet Pangasinenses.
  7. Corregidor, Bataan. I reported about it when I was in Grade II.
  8. Taal Volcano, Batangas. Last time I checked (and that’s years ago :), it’s the only volcano surrounded by waters.
  9. Payatas, Quezon. Ever since I heard how they celebrate their fiesta, I’ve been interested to go there.
  10. Angustia, Nabua, Camarines. My hometown.
  11. Donsol, Sorsogon. Swim with sharks, locally known as ‘butanding.’
  12. Palawan. They say it’s cleaner than Baguio.
  13. Marinduque. John Hendrix, disc jockey from GMA FM radio, is from there.
  14. Romblon. Banton. Also, my first crush is from Romblon.
  15. Camiguin. Loriculus camiguinensis.
  16. Camp Sabros, Davao del Sur. Experience the ‘Flight for Life.’ Nasa Davao City naman yung katukayo ko.
  17. Zamboanga Sibugay. I want to see why it has become a city. It has not been for the past 20 years of my life.
  18. Iloilo. Some of the people I met here are from the Visayas. Most of them are from Iloilo. And they’re fun to be with. Parang walang problema. Or parang lahat ng problema nila, madali lang. I want to see why.
  19. Dinagat Islands. The latest province I’ve come to know.
  20. Bukidnon. Pineapples. Bananas. ‘Tulugan.’ Rivers and mountain ranges.
  21. Tawi-tawi. I will teach here.
  22. Manila. Its streets and highways.
  23. St. Maries Village, Antipolo. Jad’s place.

Ah, CDO is Cagayan de Oro! Ehehehehehe, hawang-hawa na ako kay Jad!

I also like to go there. Saw it in a travel show. Kaso I was not sure if it was Cotobato or Cagayan, so I didn't put it.

1.Can you ask around how can we go there, transportation expenses, etc.?
9.They hang foods, and anyone can eat it. Bad omen kapag hindi naubos. Yun lang. Hindi halatang matakaw noh?! I haven't witnessed how other places celebrate their fiestas kasi aside from my hometown and some cities in Metro Manila.
18.Siguro, depende talaga sa tao.

I just remembered - I want to go to Zambales too! Nakakatuwa nga kasi since I fancied visiting that province, I was thinking of going to Mindanao! Ehehehehehe, memory card ko talaga!

1. it's easy: BUS from Manila to Daet. Boat from Daet. 4k per person is way way luxurious.
aliyyas wrote on May 15
is that round trip na?
chibipunsai wrote on May 15
ali, if you mean Calaguas, last i heard was that 600 max ang one way bus to daet. so: 1,200 bus fare, round trip
lets's say, 800 and boat transfer, round trip.
there are no resorts on the island daw. camping lang, or cheap stay in the mainland. tas food.
aliyyas wrote on May 15
i dont mind camping..

sounds like an adventure. :)
jaddai wrote on May 15

What do you say if we just hire a van?
aliyyas wrote on May 15
rent-a-van costs around 5grand excluding gas but whole day.
chibipunsai wrote on May 15
actually, Van for out of town is 2500 per day, plus: gas, toll fees, food and accommodation of driver. going by commute is still more practical. :-)
aliyyas wrote on May 15
wag na magkuha ng driver.
hassle pa.
c pancho na lng magdrive! ahaha!
chibipunsai wrote on May 15
they dont rent out vans without drivers. if pancho will drive, someone's gonna have to give directions. wahaha!!!
aliyyas wrote on May 15
no. if pancho will drive, we'll be needing crash helmets.
hahaha!!
luckymae wrote on May 15
I'll ask around for other options. Sana matuloy.
chibipunsai wrote on May 15

Its an ABS show. I think. AHAHAHA!
chibipunsai wrote on May 17
hindi. it's LOBO, in abscbn, pero...i meant, anong koneksyon ng LOBO sa pinaguusapan? hahahah
luckymae wrote on May 18
Ala, naguluhan sa akin si Pretty Rap! Nagmamarunong-marunungan kasi ako.
chibipunsai wrote on May 18
so ano ngang nangyayari?!
luckymae wrote on May 19
Ah eh uhm, regarding your question, na-feel ko lang kasi na may pumipigil sa iyo para magpunta sa Calaguas.
